Is it right to fake sick ???

Ok this weekend is easter sunday which I love I get to watch my son do the typical easter egg hunt. Have morning brunch and spend the reat of sunday watching the masters. Sounds like a great weekend right "NOT". You see my wifes family has this wacked out tradition of doing an easter egg hunt on the saturday before easter sunday. However they do this easter egg hunt in the dark and with flash lights the question is ? Is it ok to fake sick so I dont have to praticipate in this event and can catch on watching my yankees win their 27th world title or atleast on the road to doing so.
